RESUMO

O presente artigo intenta apresentar a construção do personagem no romance Rayuela de Cortázar, através do metafórico e do simbólico, reinterpretando o real através do onírico e do fantástico. O artigo mergulha na temática cortazariana, partindo de sua estreia em “La casa tomada” e mostra como seu itinerário o levará a um exercício de literatura simbólico e existencialista, com o personagem sendo mais que um alter ego, mas um elo de polifonia entre autor e leitor. A chamada antiliteratura em Cortázar é, paradoxalmente, um exercício de método metafórico de mescla entre prosa e poesia, construindo uma nova linguagem para um romance não linear em Rayuela.

SUMMARY

This article intend to present the construction of the character in the novel Rayuela by Cortázar, through the metaphorical and the symbolic, reinterpreting the real through the dreamlike and the fantastic.
The article narrates Cortázar’s theme, starting from his debut in “La casa Tomada” and shows how his itinerary will take him to an exercise in symbolic and existentialist literature, with the character being more than an alter ego, but a link of polyphony between the author and reader.
The so-called antiliterature in Cortázar is, paradoxically, an exercise in the metaphorical method of mixing prose and poetry, building a new language for a non-linear novel in Rayuela.
